The project involves the demolition of two existing cottages and associated barns and out buildings and the rebuild of two 5 bedroom, 5,000sqft residences.

Building on the success of the project at Montpelier Road, the new homes include a raft of sustainable features including the use of passive and active solar energy, whole house ventilation systems, significant levels of insulation and triple glazing. Careful design of the layouts has also ensured the inclusion of enhanced levels of natural daylight to all the key living areas.

The understanding of the detail design solutions from the previous project will enable the new designs to attain similar standards of quality finish.

Commencing in the summer of 2013 the homes will have been through the rigorous Local Authority controls regarding bats and design within the local proximity of Listed Buildings.
